Abstract:
The Spring Framework is a widely adopted framework for implementing J2EE solutions for business. Flex is a Adobe Flash API that is quickly gaining acceptance in developing powerful business RIAs. BlazeDS is Adobe’s Open Source solution for server side integration with the Flex API. This talk will discuss integrating these technologies to work together. It includes information on the new Adobe BlazeDS and Spring Framework collaboration project, advantages and drawbacks of the technologies. A hands-on demonstration of configuring Flex, BlazeDS and Spring to work together will be presented during the talk.

Bio:
Bradford Taylor is an Architect of Dallas based business and technology consulting firm Credera. Bradford has been implementing Java solutions for 10 years and has implemented and developed Flex, Spring and J2EE solutions for major telecommunications companies, retail companies and small businesses.
