August Meeting - Spring Validation

Ryan Breidenbach is back this month to go oven some pieces of the the Spring Modules Project that deal with validation. We should also be able to have a full length meeting this month.

ABSTRACT:
Ryan will discuss the following Spring topics:

  • General validation via Spring’s MVC
  • Commons Validation integration (Spring Modules)
  • Valang integration (Spring Modules)
  • Hibernate Annotations validation integration (not in
    Spring Modules, but cool)

BIO:
An avid supporter of open source Java technologies, Ryan Breidenbach has been developing enterprise Java applications for the past six years. He is also co-author of Spring in Action 1st edition, a real world look at how to build J2EE applications using the Spring Framework. Ryan is currently a Senior Software Engineer for Countrywide Financial.
