June 2012 Spring Dallas User Group Meeting - Using MyBatis with Spring by Brian Hurley
Spring Dallas User Group Wednesday, June 20th, 2012
Topic: Using MyBatis with Spring by Brian Hurley
6:30 to 7:00 Pizza
7:00 Main Meeting
Abstract: - While there has been a lot of content about NoSQL databases and some great improvements in the Spring Data area especially with JPA I still like to use MyBatis for our legacy database interactions. MyBatis gives you most of the goodness that JPA gives while still allowing easy access to thoes non 3rd normal form tables without jumping through many JPA hoops. What I will show is some of the history around iBatis/MyBatis, how to get started using MyBatis in Java and with Spring and how to create some dynamic mappings.
